Reno Tahoe Women’s Health is a Northern Nevada gynecologic practice that emphasizes delivering accurate and compassionate care. Dr. Arathi Veeraswamy, MD, and Brooke Maclennan, CNM, aim to provide service with sincerity to every woman, regardless of circumstance.
The team promotes small-practice relationships, striving to get to know every patient on an individual level while providing select services to their clients. These services include family planning, preconception counseling, and annual exams.
Dr. Veerswamy also specializes in minimally invasive gynecological procedures, such as endometrial biopsies, hysteroscopies, and hysterectomies. She is proud to be able to offer the most advanced and nonsurgical options currently available.

Arathi Veeraswamy, MD

Dr. Arathi Veeraswamy, MD, is an obstetric and gynecologic specialist practicing at Reno Tahoe Women’s Health in Reno, Nevada. Her passion for women’s health and counseling led her to the beautiful city nestled within the Sierras. She is grateful to raise her family in the area while helping others in the community to start their own.
Dr. Veeraswamy obtained her Doctor of Medicine from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences in Hubli, India. She went on to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York. After her residency, Dr. Veeraswamy pursued her fellowship in advanced, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at Stanford University Medical Center in Stanford, California.
Dr. Veeraswamy’s professional accomplishments include authorship of various articles in peer-reviewed medical journals. She is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and has an active membership with the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL). Dr. Veeraswamy was also named a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).
At Reno Tahoe Women’s Health, Dr. Veeraswamy aims to provide complete and professional care to all of her clients. She is particularly adept at performing minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Veeraswamy is currently accepting new patients at her Northern Nevada office.
Brooke Maclennan, CNM
OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner located in Reno, NV
Brooke Maclennan, CNM, is a certified nurse-midwife at Reno Tahoe Women’s Health in Reno, Nevada. She is an accomplished clinician who obtained her master’s degree in nursing from Frontier Nursing University, with a focus on providing holistic obstetric and gynecologic care.
Originally from Colorado, Brooke’s passion for women’s health has led her to care for mothers and babies in a variety of settings over the years, including hospitals, homes, and birth centers. She sees pregnancy and childbirth as natural occurrences and understands the importance of acquiring the proper skills to care for individuals accordingly.
At Reno Tahoe Women’s Health, Brooke aims to educate and empower all of her clients. As an advocate for evidence-based medicine, she encourages women to work together with their health care providers to take an active role in meeting their needs. Through this education, she believes that every woman has the potential to achieve optimal health.
Brooke continues to be inspired daily by the strength of the women and families she encounters and is grateful to be able to serve the Reno area. She is currently accepting new patients.
